SUSYMBIO is Walking the Walk
SUSYMBIO takes environmental responsibility beyond "sustainable" limits and actually aids in improving the natural environment beyond its operational impacts. Currently Susymbio is a carbon positive company - meaning its efforts soaks up more carbon than it emits.
This is very rare in Singapore and indeed the world. Most consulting companies like to talk the talk, but Susymbio actually walks the walk. Happily, it has been able to do so every year since its founding in 2020.
How is it done?

Tree planting is done to offset carbon used during operations which is primarily travelling within Singapore and supporting communications.

Biodiversity is also tackled by devoting time and efforts to conservation here in Singapore and in Malaysia. This is calculated by hours spent for supporting Singapore Wildcat Action Group, National Parks Singapore and other conservation organizations. Per employee this equates to 218 hours in 2023.

Susymbio works at influencing the Logistics Industry by writing the Green Corridor column for LogiSYM Magazine. This column is all about advocating for decarbonisation in the logistics industry. It shares with companies how to do it and what to watch for. Per employee this equates to 90 hours of effort in 2023.
